Your logo is a key part of your brand identity. It helps people recognise your business, builds trust, and sets the tone for your website.

As part of your Welcome Pack, we’ll ask about your logo. Your logo has a huge influence over your website. Whether you already have a logo or need help creating one, we’ve made the process simple and flexible. In this blog, we’ll discuss what we need from you and the options we provide.

Your Logo options

When completing your welcome pack, you’ll have three options to choose from:

1. Upload your existing logo

If you already have a logo, this is the most straightforward option. We recommend uploading:

  • A high-quality JPG or PNG file
  • Multiple versions if you have them (for example, light and dark versions, or different layouts)
  • Your EPS file, if available (this is ideal for the best quality and flexibility)

The more files you can provide, the better. It gives us more flexibility when designing your website and ensures your logo looks sharp across all devices.

2. Free basic text logo

If you don’t currently have a logo, you can choose a simple text-based option. This uses your business name styled in a clean, professional way to suit your website design. It’s a great starting point for new businesses or for those who prefer a minimal look.

We’ll ensure the typography aligns with your brand and works seamlessly with the overall design of your site. Please note that we do not provide you with the logo files for this.

3. Professionally designed logo

If you’re looking for something more bespoke, we also offer a professional logo design service. Our team will create a logo tailored to your business, taking into account:

  • Your industry
  • Your target audience
  • The image you want to portray

This option is ideal if you want a strong, distinctive brand identity from the outset.

The higher quality the logo, the better!

Logo quality is extremely important for your website. Low-resolution images can appear blurry or pixelated, especially on larger screens. That’s why we always recommend uploading the highest quality version you have.

If you’re unsure whether your files are suitable, you can upload everything you have, and we’ll review it for you.

Using AI Logos

While AI-generated logos can seem like a quick and low-cost option, they often come with limitations. Your logo is a long-term asset for your business, so it’s worth getting it right from the start.

Common issues include:

  • Poor scalability and resolution
  • Lack of originality
  • Inconsistent branding across platforms
  • Limited file formats for professional use

How your logo fits into your website

Your logo influences more than just your header. It helps guide the overall look and feel of your website.

It guides

  • Typography choices
  • Colour direction
  • Spacing and layout decisions

That’s why we ask for this information early in the process. It allows us to design your website in a way that feels consistent and professionally put together. You can learn more about how this feeds into the wider process on our website design services page.

Summary

Whether you already have a logo or need help creating one, we’ll make sure you’re set up for success. If you have existing files, upload everything you can. If not, we’ll guide you through the best option for your business. And if you’re ever unsure, ask. We’re here to help you make the right choice for your brand.
