We are thrilled to announce the official launch of the Webfactory Hub Beta - the all-in-one platform for managing your products and services! Our team has been working tirelessly to create a space that will simplify your daily operations and streamline your workflow.

We are currently in a closed beta phase, which means that the Webfactory Hub is available exclusively to a select group of testers. However, we would love to expand our beta testers group and invite you to join us!

As a beta tester, you will have access to all the features of the Webfactory Hub before it is released to everyone. This will give you the opportunity to provide us with feedback and suggestions, allowing us to improve the platform and tailor it to your needs.

What is the Webfactory Hub and how does it differ from the current Webfactory management system?

We started out over 15 years ago offering relatively basic websites however over the years we have expanded the capabilities of the sites we build and started offering a wider range of services. The management system used by customer now is in its third of fourth iteration but fundamentally it was built on the basis that we offer that one single service, website design.

The Webfactory Hub effectively provides a top level container for all your products services so when you log in, instead of being taken directly to the website manager you are taken to a central home where you can navigate to the service you want to manage meaning we are doing away with different usernames and passwords for each of your services.

We took on board feedback from our designers, our customer service team and customers who use the system every day to identify the various pain points and discover how we could organise things better resulting in a brand new clean design with helpers such as shortcuts key combinations to make moving about easier and more efficient.

What new in the Webfactory Hub?

There's a lot new in the Hub and a lot we've improved. Here are some of the highlights however

  • General
    • A completely new design
    • Single log into all your products and services
    • Support for multiple user accounts with differing levels of permissions
    • Keyboard shortcuts for quick navigation through the system
    • Support section with guides on how to use hub
    • Ability to update your payment details online
    • Full history of invoices and payments with pending invoices shown
    • Full detail on all your recurring payments
  • Welcome pack
    • Reorganisation of the welcome pack sections
    • Clearer indication of what needs to be done when sections are marked as incomplete by your designer
    • Live searching of stock images rather than having to navigate to an external website to locate stock ids
    • Stages of the welcome pack broken down more logically to make completion easier
  • Website editor
    • New way to edit you page sections
    • Improved drag to reorder functionality (works better on touch devices)
    • Additional page section element types
    • New and improved table editor
    • New form editor
    • Reorganisation or settings to be more logically located
  • Ecommerce websites
    • New reports
    • Improved product management with live searching
