What 3 pages does your website need?

Need a website but not sure what pages you need? Start with the essentials and build on them. Most small business websites only need 3 important pages to get started.

In this blog, we’ll explain the 3 essential pages that your website needs and why you need them.

1. Home page

Your home page is like your shop window; it’s the first thing people see when they visit your site. This needs to be eye-catching and summarise who you are, what you do and guide potential customers to get in touch.

It should:
Say who you are
Show what you do
Have a button like “Contact Us” or “See Our Services”

2. About page

People want to know who’s behind the business, your history and values. This page helps visitors get to know how you are and build trust.

It should:

What makes you special (your USP)
A photo or friendly message helps too

3. Contact page

If someone wants to talk to you, they need to be able to contact you. This is one of the most important pages on your website. Display your contact information clearly and guide visitors on how to get in touch.

Maybe even have a map if you have a shop or office

Keep It Simple

Your website doesn’t need to have lots of pages or fancy, expensive features; it just needs to be clear, easy to use, and helpful. Once you have these 3 pages, you can always add more later, like a blog, services page, or an online shop.

Summary

When building your first business website, start with these 3 pages: Home, About and Contact and you’re good to go!
