Checkout merge fields – update

The Webshop Checkout Settings page allows you to add custom HTML that is injected into the checkout page after a customer completes their order. This is commonly used for conversion tracking scripts and analytics integrations.

Previously, merge fields supported basic order data such as:

  • Order ID
  • Order total amount

This update introduces additional merge fields to give you more flexibility, particularly for advanced tracking and post-purchase workflows:

  • Customer email address
  • Delivery country
  • Estimated delivery date*

Please note: The estimated delivery date is automatically calculated as 7 days from the order date. This is intended to support use cases such as triggering review requests, where an approximate delivery window is required.

These additions were introduced in response to customer requests, particularly to support enhanced tracking requirements for platforms such as Google.
