Christmas Website tips

Christmas is one of the happiest times of the year, but also the busiest time for many businesses. It can be quite stressful getting yourself organised. We've put together some tips / suggestions to help you.

Publishing your Christmas opening times

Make sure your customers know when you're open over the festive season. You may choose to extend business hours during this period or even shut down over Christmas. It's important that you let customers know this information and change in hours. One idea would be to post your changed times or shut down periods on social media. Or, you could send an email to your customers marketing list.

Decorate your Website

Making your website look Christmassy can help spread joy over Christmas. You can make your website look Christmassy by adding things like falling snow, a banner design and/or a festive logo. Not only does it look great, it will also show potential customers that your website is updated regularly. It can also help make your customers aware that you may have offer on over the holiday period.

Display your last order date

Making sure you uphold your high standards is always important. Let your customers know when orders placed will no longer be delivered in time for Christmas. Website banners are great for displaying this information. This will help manage customer expectation and avoid disappointment by being transparent. You may also want to add extra delivery options to enable your customers to order as late as possible.
