New this month
You can bookmark our System Update page for regular updates. Here is a summary of what’s new this month:
- New heading level: We’ve added a new H2 heading option to the Website Editor. Using four asterisks on each side of text will now create an H2 heading, making it easier to structure content with a clearer hierarchy.
- Sitemaps update: We’ve updated site sitemaps so blog articles are now included in /sitemap.xml alongside main pages, making all content easier to list and discover.
- Improved banner link settings: The Banner Settings in the Website Editor now include a link selector, so you can choose destinations directly instead of manually entering page IDs.
- We now support text replies: You can now reply directly to SMS messages from Webfactory, allowing our team to manage text conversations alongside your other messages.
- New indented column: A new indented 2-column layout is now available in the Website Editor, allowing two narrower columns to sit side by side in the centre of the page instead of full-width content.
- Improved address lookup: Address lookup has been improved for ecommerce sites using the address lookup add-on, with a newer service that provides more complete and up-to-date results when customers enter their postcode at checkout. This makes it easier for shoppers to select their full address, including the correct house or building details, and it can be enabled via the Upgrade section in the Website Editor if not already active.
- New Welcome Pack page suggestions assistant: When completing the Welcome Pack, you can now receive AI-powered page suggestions based on your business details. In the Pages section, you can select which pages to include, add notes for the team, and stay within your package limits, helping you plan your website structure more easily while staying in control.
- New Welcome Pack page content assistant: You can now use AI assistance when adding page content in your Welcome Pack. While working on a page, you can generate a draft based on your details, then choose to edit, refine, regenerate, or ignore it, helping you create clearer content for your website more easily.
- New Welcome Pack business details assistant: You can now get AI support when completing the About You section of your Welcome Pack. It will ask simple questions about your business and create a clear draft outline for you to review and edit, helping you provide useful, personalised information for your website more easily.

- Plastic Free July: Highlight what your business is doing to be more sustainable and encourage followers to join in by sharing their own plastic-free changes
- Disability Pride Month Highlight any inclusive practices within your business and encourage meaningful conversations through thoughtful posts and stories. Keep the tone empowering, respectful, and centred on visibility, equality, and community.
- World Chocolate Day - 7th July: Share team favourite chocolates, run polls about popular flavours or chocolate preferences, and post chocolate-themed visuals or treats in the office. You could also host a giveaway.
- World Emoji Day - 17th July: Use emoji-only captions or challenge your audience to guess messages made entirely from emojis.
- International Self-Care Day - 24th July: Share easy self-care tips like taking breaks, going for a walk, or switching off notifications, and encourage your audience to prioritise their mental and physical health.
- International Day of Friendship -30th July: Share posts celebrating friendships within your team, customers, or wider audience, and highlight the importance of support networks. Encourage followers to tag a friend they’re grateful for or share stories about meaningful friendships using a branded hashtag.
